Self-catered or catered accomodation for up to 10 people in a beautiful 250 year old restored Moorish casa. The house, in the village of Pitres, is in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Andalucia in southern Spain.Casa de Luz has 2 floors, the upper being the living space of 250sq m. The restoration has kept all the original beams and stone ceilings, and has maintained the finishing style, while creating a well appointed and equipped house. The ground floor was the original working part of the house which has been left largely intact except for the creation of an internal patio with a small pool. One part of the 'bodega' has been restored into a cool place to relax. Casa de Luz is near the edge of Pitres, one of the larger villages of the stunning High Alpujarras where many charming old 'white villages' cling to the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada.
